David Allyn Hoover, 61 of Kouts, passed away suddenly February 22, 2022. He was born December 31, 1960 in Valparaiso to the late Clayton and Patricia (Wale) Hoover. David was a 1980 graduate of Kouts High School and a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a Union Laborer with Local 81 and a member of the Kouts Legion and Sons of the American Legion. David enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, stock car racing, and was an avid NASCAR fan. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
David is survived by his children, Matthew Hoover, Chris (Christina) Hoover, Michael Hoover, Kevin Hoover, and Krystal (Christopher) Kieres; grandchildren, Annalisa, Savanna, Mason, Annabella, Morgan, Connor, and Annastasia; and his sister, Kimberly Hoover. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Mark, Rick, Matt, and Sharon.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the Kouts American Legion, 959 W. Indiana St., Kouts, IN. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 11:30 am at Graceland Cemetery, Kouts.
