Raymond Edward Peracki, 79 of Valparaiso, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022. He was born June 8, 1942 in Chicago to Ramon and Bernice (Przytula) Peracki. Ray made his career as a Machinist with Wrigley’s Chewing Gum for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and hosting fish fries. Ray was a lifelong Catholic, and a loving and generous family man. Ray adored his children and grandchildren more than anything. He will be dearly missed.
On October 27, 1962 in Chicago, Raymond married the love of his life, Esther Minyard, who survives, along with their children: Christina Peracki of Hobart, Mark (Judy) Peracki of Valparaiso, Nicholas (Tori) Peracki of Wheeler; grandchildren: Lindsey (Ryan) Ditchcreek, Kyle (Nikki) Behrendt, Holly (Tim) Richardson, Erik Peracki, Robert (Anne) Peracki, Damian (Abbey) Peracki, Dakota (Hunter) Fitzgerald; and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and many beloved dogs.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm.
