Sharron Lu Dillin, 75 of Kouts, IN, passed away peacefully at Golden Living Center in Valparaiso on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. She was born May 22, 1946 in Petoskey, MI to Herman and Mary (Taylor) Eddy. Sharron graduated from Petoskey High School in 1964 and later made her career as a Lead Photo Lab Technician at K-Mart in Portage, IN for 25 years. She was an avid reader and particularly enjoyed trips to the library to check out mystery and romance novels. Sharron enjoyed camping trips at State Parks and hikes with her husband at The Dunes. Her greatest joy came from her family, and Sharron was never happier than when she was celebrating the holidays and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who will be remembered for her kind and caring nature, and her great sense of humor. Sharron will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
On June 26, 1965 in Petoskey, MI, Sharron married her sweetheart, William C. Dillin, who survives, along with their sons: Bill (Patty) of Pahrump, NV and Scott (Debbie) of Kouts, IN; grandchildren: Angelica, Bill (Brittany), Jacob, and Katie; 4 great grandchildren; and sister, Suzanne Conti. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside service will be held in June in Indian River, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dunes Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
